Replica Time Circuits Prop Back to the Future DeLorean

The Time Circuits feature in all three movies and no DeLorean Time Machine is complete without them. The casing is made from aluminium and is designed to fit over your DeLorean dash covering the air vents and radio. It’s easy to take in and out of the car so you don’t need to keep the time circuits in all the time.

The Time Circuits are fully operational. That means that the time and date on each row can be set by the keypad. Unfortunately, you will need a working DeLorean time machine and 1.21 GigaWatts of power in order to actually travel through time.

The electronics within the unit include 39 16-segment displays in three colours red, green and yellow, a custom-programmed microcontroller and display drivers. The unit runs from a 12V supply. The keypad is fitted to the base of the chassis and has a numeric keypad and illuminated lights and switches.

This unit draws less than 0.5A but should be run from a secondary battery if you plan to leave it on at a car show. (link)
